Itinerary

Day 1: pick up from your hotel and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel by the tour guide and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park in south western part of Uganda via Kabale district en-route at the equator for photography and experimentations then proceed, stopover at Igongo cultural center Mbarara for lunch and proceed to Kabale while enjoying the beautiful views of the kigezi hills as you proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park late in the evening (8-9 hrs.) drive.

Dinner and overnight at Rushaga gorilla camp, Chameleon hill lodge, Bakiga lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking- cultural tours.

After early morning breakfast, move to the park headquarters for pre tracking briefing by the ranger guides and paper work with your tracking gears, long trousers, tracking hats, drinking water, packed lunch and hiking sticks and start on the memorable experience of gorilla tracking, move in the forest and begin the search for mountain gorillas, it may take you 1- 8 hrs. depending on the kind of group you’re allocated to and how far they are.

After finding them, you have 1 hr. to take pictures and videos with them before you exit the forest. Return to your lodge for refreshment and relaxation, after which you can go for a community walk to the Batwa community and enjoy the cultural performances of the pygmies.

Dinner and overnight stay at DAY 1.

Day 3: Transfer to Mgahinga national park- Gorilla tracking and flight back

Very early in the morning transfer to Mgahinga national park, arrive on time, assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers and move to the rain forest with your group for tracking. The gorillas in Mgahinga national park are easily found which makes them easy for tracking. You are given 1 hr. to interact, take photos, videos when you meet the endangered mountain gorillas.

Return for lunch and transfer to Kigali for your flight back.
