You will be picked from the airport by the tour guide to Kigali for lunch and transfer to Nyungwe forest national park. It will take you 5-6 hrs drive, en route at the national museum and proceed with the journey as you enjoy the scenic views of the tea plantations along the way.

In the morning after breakfast, move to the park headquarters for paperwork and pre trekking briefing by the ranger guides, after embark on a memorable experience of chimpanzee trekking in the Nyungwe forest, for 1-6 hrs depending on how far the chimpanzees are, use one hour for observations, photography and ask questions regarding the chimpanzees before you leave the forest.

Return to your lodge for late lunch and relaxation, in the evening you can go for canopy walk on the dense forests of Nyungwe where you view so many bird species and many more animals. Return at day 1 for dinner and overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast transfer from Nyungwe forest national park to volcanoes national park north of Rwanda, take a visit at the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo. Dinner and overnight at mountain Gorilla view lodge.

After early morning breakfast, at exactly 7:00am be at the park headquarters for briefing and paperwork by the ranger guides, before you embark on a breath taking experience of Gorilla trekking. Enter the forest with your packed lunch, enough drinking water and the right trekking gears with nice crafted trekking stick and search the habituated endangered mountain Gorillas for 1-8 hrs depending on how far the primates went the previous night.

Use 1 hr for observation and photography before you leave the forest. Return to your lodge for relaxation, after relaxation in the evening go for a cultural visit to the ibyiwacu village and enjoy their cultural dances, learn their life styles and different farming methods as the explain. Return at day 3 for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast move to the park headquarters for briefing and go for golden monkey trekking, guided by the park rangers for 1-5 hours depending on how far it takes you to locate the golden monkeys in their natural habitats. Your given 1 hr after encountering with them for observations, interactions and photography and after go back to your lodge for lunch and transfer back to Kigali airport for your flight back to your next destination.
