Overview

This trip is designed mostly for primate trekkers with some birding and wildlife encounters in the savannah game park of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The trip starts with an encounter with the chimpanzee in Kibale National Park then game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park and finally ends with trekking the Gentle giants (Gorillas) in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and check in at the hotel
Upon arrival at the airport you’ll be picked and welcomed by our professional safari guide/driver and transferred to 2Friends hotel in entebbe for relaxation and overnight stay
Transfer to Kibale national park.

After breakfast You will be briefed by our company Guide who will be your tour guide for the entire trip. After that you’ll be transferred to Kibale National park via Fort Portal which is about a 6-7hrs drive. Stop over at palace motel fort portal for lunch and proceed to kibale national park which is south east of fort portal town.

Overnight at Crater Safari lodge / Chimpundu

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in kibale national park

Early in the morning take breakfast at your hotel and get ready with your gadgets for chimpanzee tracking. You will be briefed by the game rangers for the tracking process, you will encounter the chimpanzee in the forest and other different species of birds. After you’ll head back to your hotel for a rest then have a community tour around Bigodi.

Dinner and Overnight at crater safari Lodge/ Chimpundu lodge

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
In the morning after breakfast set off for Queen Elizabeth national park, it will take you 3-4hrs drive to reach Kataara safari lodge where you’ll stay. Have lunch and rest, in the afternoon go for a game drive in the park where you will see different animals in the bushy grasslands like lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas among others. After that, go back to your hotel for a night and supper.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
In the morning after breakfast transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park south western Uganda through the Ishasha sector as you will watch the tree climbing lions sleeping in the trees, approximately 6-7hrs drive. Overnight at Chameleon Hill lodge.
Day 6: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi national park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, assemble at the park headquarters for briefing and get ready for gorilla tracking guided by the game rangers. Encounter with the endangered gorillas in the forest, go on a search and look for them . remember to pack lunch with you and drinking water as the process may take some long hours. Lunch and overnight at Chameleon Hill
Day 7: Transfer to Kampala.
Early in the morning after your breakfast return back to kampala, and you can stop over at the equator kayabwe for lunch and after drive to Entebbe airport for your flight or destination
