Itinerary
Arriving in a foreign country for the first time can be a bit sensitive with your mind so alert to details from the new people you meet, the sounds, the sights and the fresh air of your new environment. Your Guide will be with you all through the whole trip and will definently make you feel at home. Upon arrival youll be picked by your guide get acquainted and set off for kampala city which is about an hour drive to the city while you enjoy your first moments of this beautiful country starting from lake victoria views to the road side markets and busy streets of Kampala filled with traffic and crazy motorists. This will give you a slight picture of kampala.
Check in at your hotel and have a relaxation as you prepare for the following day. We carefully selected for you this comfort level accomodation where you can enjoy a swimming moment at the pool side.

In the morning after breakfast, transfer to Kibale national park located in western Uganda, it will take you approximately 7-8 hrs drive to reach, you will have stopovers for lunch. The journey to kibale is incredibly scenic filled with beautiful Rwenzori lands covered with forests and amazing tea estates coupled with rolling hills covered of lush green cover. Your lodge for the forest stay (Chimpundu lodge) is awe inspiring with tiled wood floors built in the middle of kibale forest with a beautiful swimming pool to cool you off the journey setting the mood for a nature filled once in a lifetime relaxation in an indigenous natural forest.

In the morning after breakfast, get ready with your trekking gear like strong clothes, gloves and walking sticks among others and pack lunch with you and drinking water as the processing may take long hours. Assemble at the park headquarters and get briefed by the game rangers and set off for trekking.
Move through the world’s primates capital the Kibale forest as you enjoy the process and encounter with our closest cousins the chimpanzees, here you will have 1hr take moments to chat with the chimpanzees, take photos and videos as you enjoy the whole process which may take you almost 8hrs depending on where they are.
In the afternoon you’ll have time to enjoy the lodge which boasts a beautiful swimming pool and the forest whispers.
Dinner and Overnight ar Chimpundu lodge
In the morning after breakfast, set off for Queen Elizabeth national park in south western Uganda, which will take you 3hrs drive arriving on time for Lunch at Mweya safari lodge(luxury), Buffalo safari lodge(midrange), Simba safari camp(budget). After lunch, relax and then go for an evening game drive in the savannah plains of kasenyi where animals like elephants, leopards, antelopes, big cuts such as lions can be spotted depending on your luck. Return to your lodge overnight.
For the coming two nights you will stay at Buhoma Lodge, an intimate lodge with spectacular views over the forest, and one of only two lodges that is located within the park. You will stay in one of the ten chalets which are carefully and spaciously designed using locally sourced materials. Your private veranda with wonderful forest views, complimentary house drinks and massage will ensure a sublimely relaxing stay.
Early in the morning after breakfast at your hotel get ready for gorilla tracking in the Bwindi impenetrable forest as guided by the game rangers. Have the right tracking gear like strong clothes, trousers, long sleeved shirts, hats among others, ensure you are physically fit before trekking, remember to pack lunch and enough drinking water and walking sticks.
Walk through the forest as you search for the gorillas where you will also have a glance at different animals and birds in the forest. Utilize 1hr to interact with the gorillas, take photos and videos for memorable experiences when you go back, it might take you long hours as it depends on how far they are. Return to your lodge for overnight.
In the morning have breakfast and return back to Kampala, on your way you will see beautiful hills of Kigezi region, banana plantations, local markets and you will stopover at Agip Motel Mbarara for lunch and proceed up to Equator, stop for photos and visit the local markets and after drive to Kampala to 2 friends hotel Entebbe for overnight.
