Itinerary
Wake up early for breakfast and after, be transferred by your Uganda safari leader from Entebbe/Kampala to Sipi Falls along Kampala-Jinja highway. This will be after briefing on your 5 days in Sipi Falls & Kidepo. A total of about 6 hours will be spent to reach Sipi Falls in Eastern Uganda, Kapchorwa district.
Drive via Mabira Forest Reserve that is divided by Kampala-Jinja highway and en-route, enjoy views of sugarcane plantations, the source of the Nile River in Jinja. Lunch will be provided upon arrival and what follows is hiking to the 3 Sipi Falls with an experienced local guide on lead. You will begin with the very highest falls that cascades at altitude of 100m, then descend to second one at 75m and sum it up with 85m then descend back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay around the Sipi Area.

Have breakfast and after, vacate your lodge in the Sipi Area ready to set off for a coffee tour experience. Explore the long process or stages coffee production takes till it is finally ready for humans to consume. After the coffee expedition, you will be driven to Kidepo Valley National Park while enjoying the beautiful homesteads en-routes, and the scenery in the Karamoja region. Check into the particular lodge or camp that you booked.

Breakfast is enjoyed early in the morning and after, begin your long day Kidepo expedition at 6:30am with a guide in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Head towards the savannas of Kidepo National Park in North-eastern Uganda and discover what makes this park East Africa’s true virgin destination.Kidepo expedition today involves you sighting interesting species such as the cape buffaloes, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, birds, primates, warthogs and view the vast plains. Most of these will be spotted in the Narus River as they confine themselves to drink water. You will have a picnic lunch/get back to the lodge, have some then proceed to look out for more abundant wildlife species, take photos and a lot more before getting back to have a relaxed dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Enjoy your delicious cup of tea/coffee and after, have the 2nd day of exploring and experiencing what Kidepo has to offer. Go game drive via different directions taking you to Kanangorok hot springs, 11kms while spotting incredible species and enjoy the breathtaking views of the springs. Return to have a leisurely lunch and later in the afternoon/evening, you will have a memorable Karamojong community tour.
A delicious breakfast early morning and after, vacate your lodge in Kidepo Valley National Park for Entebbe/Kampala, about 10 to 12 hours’ drive via Gulu-Kitgum route. Lunch be enjoyed en-route to Kampala.
